In Memoriam
Brett Davis served for 34 years as a Senior Executive in the CIA and as a Special Operations Officer in the US Navy. He supervised operations and enterprise-wide programs across the CIA, the National Reconnaissance Office, the US Military, and other government agencies. Brett had expertise in government-industry-private equity collaboration, risk management, leadership, organizational turnaround, operational and technical integration, and personnel and infrastructure security.
Brett held an MS in Strategic Intelligence from the Defense Intelligence University and a BSE in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan. His executive education included the Combined/Joint Force Special Operations Component Commander Course from the Joint Special Operations University, the CAPSTONE General and Flag Officer Course from the National Defense University, and various courses from Harvard Kennedy School, Aspen Institute, and Carnegie Mellon University.
Brett was qualified as a Navy Special Operations Officer, Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, Deep Sea Diving Salvage Officer, Naval Parachutist, Surface Warfare Officer, and Joint Service Intelligence Officer.
He had also contributed articles to The Cipher Brief.
