SUSAN KILRAIN

As an astronaut, Susan flew as the pilot on STS-83 and STS-94, logging nearly 472 hours in space. Additionally, she was a navy test pilot with an MS in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech.

Susan served as a Legislative Specialist for the Space Shuttle program in the Office of Legislative Affairs at NASA Headquarters. She also worked in the Vehicle Systems and Operations Branch of the Astronaut Office and was a Spacecraft Communicator (CAPCOM) in mission control during numerous mission launches and re-entries.
