SUZANNE KELLY

Suzanne has over 30 years of experience as a journalist and is the CEO and Founder of The Cipher Brief, a media publication focused on national security. In 2019, she founded The Cyber Initiatives Group, an expert-led organization that promotes engagement between the public and private sectors on cyber and national security issues. From 2001 to 2012, she worked for CNN and CNN International in various roles, including Intelligence Correspondent, Executive Producer, Anchor, and Writer.

Before her tenure at CNN, Suzanne served as a War Zone Correspondent in Kosovo and worked as a freelance journalist for NPR, VOA, Deutsche Welle, Blue Danube News, and CNN International. She is also the author of the 2009 book, Master of War: Blackwater USA’s Erik Prince and the Business of War.
